Normal sparky work, done right
Whatever the job, you get a licensed electrician, a clear quote and compliant work.
Residential electrical
Repairs, upgrades and new installs for your home. Power points, lighting, fans, safety switches, rewiring and fault finding.
Commercial electrical

Solar & battery storage
Quality solar systems and home batteries, designed for how you actually use power. Rebate handled for you.
Switchboard upgrades
Replace old ceramic fuses with a modern board, safety switches and surge protection. Essential before adding solar, a battery or an EV charger.
EV charger installation
Home and workplace chargers installed to suit your car and your switchboard, with solar-aware charging where you want it.
Fault finding & repairs
Tripping safety switch, dead circuit, flickering lights or a burning smell? We find the cause and fix it, not just the symptom.
Cut your power bill with a system sized for your home
South Australia has some of the best sun in the country and some of the highest power prices. A properly designed solar and battery system pays for itself, and the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program currently takes a sizeable chunk off the upfront cost of a battery.
- Designed and installed by an SAA accredited electrician, not a subcontractor
- Battery rebate applied as an upfront discount on your quote
- Tier-1 panels, inverters and batteries with Australian warranty support
- SA Power Networks connection and paperwork handled for you
*Rebate amounts step down over time and depend on battery size and eligibility. We confirm the current figure in your quote.
The bloke who quotes the job does the job
A small, owner-operated business means you deal with a licensed electrician from start to finish. Here is what that looks like in practice.

Common questions
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. HD Energy Solutions Pty Ltd holds a South Australian electrical contractor licence (PGE 361341) issued by Consumer and Business Services, and we carry public liability insurance. You can check any SA licence on the CBS public register.
Do I get a Certificate of Compliance?
Every time. In South Australia, all electrical installation work must be certified with an Electrical Certificate of Compliance (eCoC). You get a copy, and it is lodged with the Office of the Technical Regulator.
Do you charge for quotes?
Quotes for installation work are free. Fault finding and repairs are charged at an hourly rate that we tell you before we start.
Can you do the battery rebate paperwork?
Yes. As an accredited installer we apply the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program discount directly to your quote and lodge the certificates. You pay the discounted price and never have to chase the rebate.
Do I need a switchboard upgrade before solar or an EV charger?
Often, yes. Older boards with ceramic fuses or without safety switches usually need upgrading to safely add a solar inverter, battery or EV charger. We assess this during the site visit and include it in the quote if needed.
Do you do emergency work?
We prioritise urgent safety issues such as no power, burning smells or exposed wiring during business hours. Get in touch and we will give you an honest timeframe. If there is a fire or immediate danger, call 000 first.
